MTOTHEG
PRESS KITHe is one of the personalities of Slovak music scene, a founder of ajlavmjuzik as well as editor, producer, promoter and a vinyl collector. We are talking about Miro Gajdoš a.k.a MtotheG, whose father (by the way a former DJ) has been supporting his love to music from early childhood. Another great role model was his older brother Matúš, who revealed him the variety of electronic music genres. Throughout years 2004-2009 they were organizing the biggest freestyle battle in Slovakia together.
In the following years he has organized many big as well as small events such as: Just Playin’, Urban Art Session, Turntablism meetings, etc. He also appeared as a co-host of a radio program Bez Pózy on Rádio_FM. On the top of that, thanks to Miro we have an urban brand ArtAttack with a rich 20 years old history. However, few years ago he stopped with it, so he can dedicate more time to his music label ajlavmjuzik.
MtotheG is a big fan of J Dilla and as a DJ/selector he mostly plays music from the vinyls. In his DJ sets he can mix songs from Kysuce and Maťko and Kubko with current electronic beats by Flako or Edith Piaf with rap Ali Shaheed Muhhamed without demur.
